Responsibilities
Design and oversee the architecture of PBGC’s IT infrastructure to meet business needs in a complex IT environment.
Serve as a lead architect, managing the IT infrastructure in alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
Ensure effective communication through quality oral and written reports relevant to IT infrastructure design.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate systems, improve performance, and maintain a high level of service availability.
Provide thought leadership and direction for technology roadmaps, incorporating emerging technologies to strengthen IT infrastructure.

Required
ITIL® Foundation or Practitioner v.4 certification
DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute
Preferred
15-20 years of progressively senior roles in IT, with at least 5 years as a lead or senior IT infrastructure architect in a complex environment.
Proven track record in developing and managing infrastructure solutions of similar size and scope.
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as the lead architect in designing and managing IT infrastructure in large, complex IT environments.
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality communication and reports to stakeholders on infrastructure design and management strategies.
