Responsibilities
Plan, oversee, develop, and implement network policies and procedures
Troubleshoot network issues and maintain network integrity
Install and upgrade network equipment and software
Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration and processes
Establish and document network technical support processes and procedures
Monitor and test network performance and provide performance statistics
Act as a technical liaison between clients, customers, and vendors
Ensure network security mechanisms are in place
Evaluate network performance and capacity to meet business needs
Maintain relationships with relevant vendors
Ensure compliance with technology standards and regulatory requirements
Provide regular communication of progress to management and stakeholders
Coach new staff members and promote best practices in IT infrastructure
Promote existing and emerging technologies and provide input on future IT infrastructure developments

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Networking solutions, network design, development and analysis, routing and switching protocols, LAN/WAN/Data Center technologies (wireless, wired, voice, video, convergence, security, VM, )
Working knowledge and experience in IP Networks, both on-premise and cloud-hosted IaaS, PaaS, Saas, within AWS and/or Azure.
Working knowledge of in the following areas: Cisco Router/Switch, SD-WAN, Ruckus Mesh Wireless, Cisco WLAN, Network Management
Experience in Fortinet Full Stack technologies (Fortigate Firewall/Secure SDWAN/ VPN)
Experience with Cisco Meraki networking solutions (SDWAN/Switching/Wireless).
Experience of cloud-hosted Network technologies.
Experience in working on a diverse portfolio of projects.
Experience of working according to ITIL processes, e.g. Incident Management, Change Management
Knowledge / experience of third-party supplier / vendor management (network products, cloud technologies and professional services).
Knowledge and experience of quality management principles and processes
Knowledge and experience in agile work methodologies and related tools
Knowledge with network automation/scripting and related tools (Ansible/Terraform/Python/etc)

Preferred
5+ years of relevant IT experience in large/complex IT architecture environments
5+ years Knowledge in deploying, operating, and maintaining large scale network environments including LAN/WAN/Data Center/SDWAN, WLAN, Wi-Fi Mesh, VM environment.
5+ years with Windows AD/EntraID Group Policy GPOs and OU administration.
5+ years TCP/IP network engineering skills.
5+ years experience in managing network management tools. (ACS, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, etc.)
Knowledge of complex campus cable designs.
Excellent written and oral communications skills with demonstrated commitment to producing high quality documentation.
Ability to work well with others across many organizations including development, sales, marketing, finance, customer support, and field service.
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to interface with all levels of management and teams within the Global IT COE.
Professional customer service focused attitude.
CCNA/NSE5 or higher, or equivalent certification preferred.
Ability to identify problems, make decisions, create solutions and take actions.
Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail and strong customer service focus.
Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities to strict deadlines within a highly demanding technical environment.
