Responsibilities

Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within budget.

Analyze expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with IT vendors, managing renewals, amendments, and terminations.

Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with potential IT vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate terms and conditions to secure the best value.

Conduct vendor due diligence and regular performance evaluations to ensure reliability, compliance, and high-quality standards.

Collaboratively implement and adhere to the corporate purchasing department's best practices, standards, and processes.

Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to payment.

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast IT needs and plan procurement activities.

Process and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.

Ensure all procured IT products and services meet quality standards and specifications.

Conduct audits and inspections to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal, including asset tracking, maintenance, and retirement.

Oversee IT inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and control.

Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

Identify and assess risks associated with IT suppliers, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Information Technology, or equivalent combination education / experience required.

2+ years of proven experience in IT procurement, sourcing, and vendor management required.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of procurement software and tools.

Familiarity with IT products and services.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint a must for competitive analysis, commodity market indexes and sourcing requirements.

Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups. Write, speak and comprehend English.

Ability to understand contracts and negotiations to pricing strategies.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Confidence to work independently.
