Responsibilities

You are interested in serving as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist responsible for providing platform services automation and support for platform product(s), IT software, and/or components.

You enjoy leading as a technical advisor and proactive planner by coordinating small/medium/large-scale products and engaging other groups in order to complete objectives on time and within budget.

You are excited about conducting research, testing, analyzing and applying various IT theories, concepts, methods, information systems security standards, and IT architecture principles and concepts sufficient to develop and implement migration strategies.

You are interested in serving as a key player, technical evaluator, and product owner providing timely, authoritative, and sound advice and recommendations on assigned program areas through the managerial chain.

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position.

Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the federal service.

Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience in designing, developing, coding, and configuring infrastructure platforms to transform and/or modernize platforms; and Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and applying agile DevSecOps/Platform Engineering practices and tools (e.g., GIT CI/CD pipelines, platform automation, etc.) to infrastructure processes; and Experience in implementing containers using kubernetes platform; and Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure security and optimize software delivery processes.

For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving.

Education may not be substituted for specialized experience at this grade level.
