Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level applications using J2EE platforms.

Participate actively in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).

Implement applications leveraging J2EE Application Server, focusing on authentication, authorization, and caching strategies.

Design and develop responsive client-facing applications with Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular or other JavaScript libraries/frameworks.

Write clean, modular, and reusable code using Java, J2EE, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, TypeScript, and other front-end technologies.

Optimize performance and scalability of enterprise-level Angular applications, owning the front-end stack.

Develop self-contained, reusable, and testable modules/components, following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices using frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium.

Adhere to best practices for design, development, and deployment, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions.

Utilize CI/CD methodologies to streamline the deployment of applications.

Work on web applications targeting cloud platforms and contribute to mobile and tablet platform solutions as needed.

Required

Experience in Front-End/UI development for enterprise applications on J2EE platforms.

Experience participating in all SDLC phases.

Experience implementing applications using J2EE Application Server, including Authentication/Authorization and Caching strategies.

Proficient programming skills in Java, J2EE, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, TypeScript, Spring, Java Server Pages, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, Maven, and other UI frameworks/libraries.

Experience developing responsive, client-facing applications with a focus on SPAs.

Strong experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise Angular applications.

Experience in creating testable modules and components with TDD methodologies using Karma, Jasmine, Selenium, etc.

Demonstrable experience in applying design best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Preferred

Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (version 8 or later).

Experience in Agile development methodologies (preferably Scrum).

Experience with applications developed for Cloud platforms.

Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.

Hands-on experience with mobile and tablet platform development.
