Responsibilities
Advise the client on essential activities related to the end-to-end Jiva implementation process, providing both project management and business analysis support to align the platform with organizational needs.
Act as the client’s primary Jiva advisor and system administrator, overseeing system configuration, customization, and setup to optimize functionality.
Advise client on architectural infrastructure considerations related to Jiva instances’ batch and API interfaces, ensuring they are tailored to client requirements and adhere to industry best practices.
Utilize Jiva implementation tools, such as ClicBank and Joint Configuration Manager Tool, to configure and move system functionality between Jiva environments.
Advise on the development of client system agnostic workflows; be able to lead development of the workflows (as required by client) using tools like Visio to streamline system operations.
Employ project management methodologies, including hybrid and agile approaches, using tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and Tableau to track project progress, manage tasks, and report outcomes.
Collaborate closely with clinical, technical, and operational teams to ensure Jiva configuration meets all clinical and compliance standards.
Establish and lead enterprise-wide, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
Directs large-scale, complex projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners.
Accountable for one or more initiatives including business, clinical, operational, and Information Technology (IT) scope.
Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters.
Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan.
Develops the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan(s), and other related project management artifacts.
Develops and implements scope/change management, risk, and issues processes, templates, tracking & reporting in line with client standards and processes.
Develops and implements financial management (budgeting, forecasting etc.) and resource management processes, templates, tracking & reporting, in line with client standards and processes.
Directly manages all aspects of the project life cycle and works with matrixed business, clinical, operational, and IT partners, and vendors, to oversee all Solution Development LifeCycle (SDLC) phases of a project.
Clients may use varying delivery methodologies including Agile Variants such as Scrum & Kanban and broader methodologies such as DevOps.
Develops and manages communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged as needed.
Serves as a project Subject Matter Expert (SME) routinely briefing key stakeholders on varying aspects of assigned initiatives.
Represents the project in various project governance and cross-department forums.
Defines or adheres to status reporting processes, templates, tracking & reporting in line with client standards and processes. Publishes periodic project status reports.
Chairs project and status meetings, steering or operating oversight committees to review progress with key constituents.
Proposes recommendations and adjustments to project delivery and related solutions throughout the life of the initiative.
Develops project management/governance frameworks (consistent with client standards and processes: Resource Management, Communications Management & Status Reporting, Roles & Responsibilities (including RACI) Matrices.
Work within a team of stakeholders across business and technical domains to identify the optimal solution scope, requirements and business process, architecture and design and delivery approach and implementation plan.

Required
3+ years of hands-on experience in Jiva system implementation as a Project Manager or Business Analyst.
Previous experience using and administering Jiva, with a strong command of system functionalities and customization options.
Proven expertise in implementing new systems or modernizing existing Jiva instances.
Experience with workflow development tools such as Visio.
Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, and Tableau.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with experience tailoring messaging to business and technology executives.
Experience acting as thought leader on one or more initiatives.
Able to enter a project mid-stream and assume delivery responsibilities within a reasonable period of time.
Comfort with being 'hands-on' throughout various aspects of the project, as needed to assure delivery.
Preferred
Jiva certification is preferred (technical, essentials, or clinical track).
Familiarity with ClicBank and Joint Configuration Manager Tool (preferred but not required).
Clinical leadership experience is highly desirable but not required.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Master’s degree preferred.
5-7 years of progressive experience with 2+ years leading large scale, integrated multi-million dollar programs or projects.
Previous consulting experience desired.
Diverse 'generalist' backgrounds and skills are a very strong plus.
PMP or relevant project management certification is a plus.
