Responsibilities

Assist in the development of integration solutions under supervision.

Support the deployment of data interfaces using interface engine technologies like Rhapsody or Mirth.

Help maintain documentation for data exchange solutions and participate in testing.

Learn to assess data quality and troubleshoot basic issues related to information received, stored, and transmitted.

Collaborate with more experienced team members to gain knowledge about technical architecture, routing options, and system integration.

Communicate effectively with staff across IT and project management teams, focusing on learning technical and non-technical skills.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field (informatics, health IT) or relevant coursework/experience.

1-3 years experience with data architecture and experience with relational databases like Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL.

1-2 years experience with Health Information Exchange Standards: HL7, XML, FHIR, CCD etc.

1-2 years experience with data integration or public health informatics.

Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to gather and clarify requirements from customers; willingness to learn and develop technical skills is essential.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present information effectively.
