Responsibilities

Assist with issues related to the liabilities of companies and banks under Articles 3, 4, and 4A of the UCC and other applicable law.

Participate in advising as to fraud issues affecting businesses and banks.

Support senior attorneys on commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts.

Further develop litigation skills.

Required

1 -5 years of commercial and litigation experience in a law firm setting

A foundation in commercial law matters, including UCC and fraud issues affecting insurance companies and bank clients

Experience supporting senior attorneys on commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, and a desire to further develop litigation skills

Strong analytical and writing skills

J.D. from an accredited law school (top 75 law school preferred)

Excellent academic credentials (top 1/3 of graduating class preferred)

Licensed to practice law in Tennessee or ability to obtain a Tennessee license

Outstanding references required
