Responsibilities
Provide daily legal counsel on employment law matters to HR and business units.
Advise on recruiting, hiring, employee relations, discipline, terminations, and leave of absence management.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Support internal clients on employment law and HR issues across the Americas.
Manage external counsel in litigation and administrative agency matters.
Advise on employment-related provisions in contracts and acquisitions.
Serve as the primary legal point of contact for critical HR initiatives.
Review and revise internal policies and corporate communications.
Participate in training initiatives with the Americas Employment Law Team.

Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in the US.
Extensive experience in employment law, preferably in a corporate setting.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the USA and other jurisdictions such as Canada, Brazil, and Mexico.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in managing external counsel and handling litigation matters.
