Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to users of personal computers, networks, servers, portable devices, and peripheral devices.
Maintain and troubleshoot operations and communications hardware and applications in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Support Local Area Networks (LAN), servers, switches, and networking equipment.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot system hardware, software, desktop support, and printers.
Utilize applications and devices such as Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe, Smartphone devices, VPN, and Network Printers.
Demonstrate understanding of TCP/IP, Multicast technologies, and Active Directory.
Carry tools and equipment independently, up to 50lbs.
Possess relevant certifications like A+, Net+, MCP, MCSE.

Required
College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.
Working knowledge of MS Windows and Windows based software.
Thorough knowledge of computer hardware diagnostics and repair required.
Proven experience in supporting Local Area Networks (LAN), servers, switches, and networking equipment.
Proven experience with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of system hardware, software, desktop support, and printers or equivalent systems and hardware.
Experience and proficiency with the following applications and devices: Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook including calendaring, contacts, PST files, rules wizard and delegate rights, Adobe, Smartphone devices, VPN, Network Printers (HP).
Understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP and Multicast technologies.
Working knowledge and understanding of Active Directory.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to carry tools, test equipment and replacement equipment (up to 50lbs) independently and unaided.
Preferred
A+, Net+, MCP, MCSE or relevant certifications are preferred.
