Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating with government clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Assist with obtaining technical information, pricing, and cost analysis.
Assist with maintaining customer and vendor information records and interactions.
Provide proactive support to program managers and sales to help them achieve their desired outcomes.
Help manage expectations and address basic client queries.
Assist with project deliverables, timelines, and schedules.
Assist with planning and monitoring all program activities, including project plans, required team resources and related financials.
Deliver updates to the program team and keep appropriate staff informed of development issues and opportunities.
Ability to successful work in fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
Provide calendar coordination and manage meeting and deliverable schedules across many different projects or tasks.
Assist in preparing and maintaining cost sheets, pricing tools, and tracking of financial and accounting aspects involved with projects (such as quality assurance on vendor invoices and payables, cost sheets and customer invoicing).
Assist with coordination, tracking, obtaining authorization and costing of travel and/or other direct cost as required for direct, indirect, or subcontractor travel.
Assist in editing and formatting of required documentation as well as quality assurance of accuracy, completion, and compliance with Government Agency requirements and submissions such as but not limited to the following: Performance Work Statements. Statements of work. Subcontracting Agreements. Technical Implementation Plans. Kick off meetings. Weekly and Monthly Reports. Deliverables. Presentations. Quality Assurance. Quality Control Plan. Security paperwork including VARs, badging, and preparation of DD-254 forms for prime and subcontractors.

Required
Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, or a technical field).
Previous experience as a project coordinator or similar role.
Exposure to project planning, scheduling, and tracking tools.
Basic knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
Aspiration to pursue certifications such as CAPM (Certified associate in project management) or PMP.
Basic Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project and program management fundamentals.
Ability to assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities.
Ability to apply logic and common sense for quality assurance and to identify risks.
Strong reading comprehensive around project requirements and deliverables.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Organizational and Coordination Skills: Strong ability to manage schedules, track deliverables, and ensure timely updates.
Experience in maintaining documentation and ensuring accuracy.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Superb verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in drafting reports, presentations, and client correspondence.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze program data and identify trends or potential issues.
Experience in assisting with developing solutions to resolve challenges under supervision.
Stakeholder Management Support: Experience in communication and coordination with government clients, subcontractors, and internal teams related to managing expectations and address basic client queries.
Risk Awareness: Basic understanding of risk identification and mitigation processes.
Experience in assist in documenting risks and tracking mitigation strategies.
Compliance Support: Experience and knowledge of assuring project goals and objectives activities align with government regulations and standards.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools.
Proficient in Adobe & Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to grow in the program management field, with mentorship and training.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic federal contracting environment.
Ability to work independently but also flexible and adaptable to working within a team environment.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies in project documentation.
Assist in ensuring quality and compliance with contractual obligations.
Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Ability to take direction from senior program managers and execute assigned tasks efficiently.
Must be a US Citizen.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) if required.
Travel is anticipated for this job description. The percentage of business days that involve travel is 10% or less.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to travel and make frequent visits to customer facilities within the Washington Metropolitan Area.
