Responsibilities

Maintenance research on existing portfolio holdings - staying current on company-specific and industry-specific news, routine communication with sell-side analysts and company management team members, understanding details relating to press releases and company earnings releases including financial statement analysis; investigating unusual stock price activity.

Conduct detailed research on new stock ideas for the portfolios in a way that is consistent with the team’s investment approach to growth stock investing. New ideas can come from a variety of sources and are critical to investment outperformance.

Make decisive, informed recommendations to buy, sell, or hold a stock based on thorough research and analysis.

Periodically meet with and/or present to clients, consultants, prospective investors, or other Calamos colleagues.
