Responsibilities
Software Analysis, Design, & Development to build and maintain components of an Enterprise Control System (WCS, WES, WMS, ASRS) to enable Warehouse automation.
Develop and maintain robust, high-performance warehouse applications: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages like Rust, C/C++, Golang, and Python, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle: Participate in all phases, from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance, using agile methodologies (Scrum) and version control systems (Git).
Optimize for performance and scalability: Fine-tune applications and databases (SQL and NoSQL) to meet the demands of a high-volume warehouse environment.
Collaborate effectively: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including application developers, services engineers, and product managers, to understand requirements and deliver exceptional solutions.
Champion quality: Perform rigorous testing, including unit testing and debugging, and contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks.
Drive innovation: Research and explore new technologies and integration methods to enhance our warehouse applications and stay ahead of the curve.
Share your expertise: Mentor and train associate-level software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Required
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study.
1+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in languages like C/C++, Golang, Rust, or Python and experience working on Linux OS.
Understanding of database management principles and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Proficient with Git, including branching strategies, merge conflict resolution, and working with remote repositories.
Strong analytical mindset and the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex technical challenges.
Excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A passion for learning.
A desire to stay up to date with the latest technologies and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Preferred
Experience with warehouse applications and operations.
Knowledge of integration methods, protocols, and message structures.
Exposure to test automation frameworks.
Experience incorporating AI into applications.
Knowledge of general network routing.
Knowledge of PLC communication/integration.
