Responsibilities
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, identify potential threats and vulnerabilities from scan results, and develop systems for continuous scanning and analysis.
Collaborate with IT and security teams on mitigation strategies, maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets, and develop solutions for asset discovery and classification.
Track hardware and software accurately, automate security processes, and integrate security into the development pipeline with security-as-code solutions.
Create automated playbooks for security tasks and incident response.

Required
2 years of experience in threat and vulnerability management, including threat and vulnerability scans and plans of action and milestones with engineering or development teams.
Background in Python and an interest in software development (academic, work, or GitHub projects).
Experience with Rapid7, with plans to transition to a Microsoft stack in the next 12-16 months.
Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security best practices.
