Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and improve client relationships in the assigned region.
Manage strategic relationships with regional retailers and specific smaller retailers with up to $15MM annual book of business.
Maintain high-level customer contact and drive execution through the nationwide DSD network.
Develop and maintain a solid business relationship with key decision-makers within the account.
Utilize pre-call planning process prior to all calls to ensure sound financial decision-making.
Manage brokers and accounts to optimize services while maintaining the primary relationship with the customer.
Conduct joint business planning reviews with customers to update them on the progress of mutually agreed upon objectives, KPIs, and scorecards.
Drive and execute the business plan & fiscal budgeting.
Own accurate and timely sales forecasting to support organizational goals by forecasting, reporting, and analyzing market trends on a monthly basis.
Implement & maintain the annual customer business planning and fiscal budgeting targets.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all designated accounts business and operational strategies.
Manage territory P&L and deliver agreed-upon volume and market share objectives.
Manage chargebacks, deductions, and unsaleables to Company standards.

Required
5-8 years of sales experience in CPG, required
Strong analytical thinking
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical mindset, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Ability to influence – communicate clearly and concisely to gain alignment and drive action across varying audiences
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Time management and project management skills a must!
Attention to details and dedication to getting things right
Maintain high level of organization, time management and project management skills, commitment to follow through, enthusiasm, and motivation
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with the following accounts, preferred: Brookshire Grocery, Circle K, Kroger, Allsups, Affiliated Foods
