Responsibilities

Accurately and quickly perform routine lab tasks, physical or chemical testing of finished goods, materials in process, or raw materials. Interprets these results with minimal supervision.

Assists in developing new test methods, running non-routine and new tests.

Develops special customer tests and assesses new equipment by running trials.

Performs routine calculations as required by testing procedures.

Documents and prepares final reports.

Operates and performs minor maintenance on lab equipment used in testing procedures.

Provides direct technical support to customers and internal employees.

Required

HS Diploma or equivalent

2+ years hands-on laboratory testing or related technical experience

Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Basic Understanding of color computer operation

Flexible and able to work in waterbase, solvent, and energy curable labs

Preferred

AS in Science field

Exposure to wet chemistry
