Responsibilities
Design product labeling, artwork, and IFU inserts using Adobe Creative Suite and labeling software such as Bartender and Loftware.
Develop artwork that meets branding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and print production specifications.
Collaborate with internal teams and Suppliers, including international partners, to gather requirements and ensure deliverable quality.
Provide graphic design expertise and advise project teams on design best practices.
Estimate deliverable timelines and communicate progress to project management and leadership.
Manage labeling projects within established protocols, deadlines, and the eQMS system.
Complete document control requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Complete labeling projects within established labeling protocol and deadlines.
Issue and manage change orders within the eQMS system.
Complete all associated document control requirements.

Required
In-depth understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory, with an emphasis on creating artwork for regulated industries such as medical devices.
Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations for labeling, including ISO 13485, FDA QSR, EU Medical Directives, and other relevant guidelines.
Knowledge of branding guidelines and their application to product labeling, packaging, and Instructions for Use (IFUs).
Awareness of best practices in artwork creation for print production and multilingual labeling.
Basic knowledge of design-related project management processes, including estimating timelines and prioritizing deliverables.
Solid, demonstrated competency in graphic design with proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in graphic design, packaging, and/or labeling.
Proficiency in creating and managing multilingual artwork for global product distribution.
Understanding of brand identity and branding guidelines, including adherence to company and private label branding standards.
Ability to provide guidance on graphic design best practices to cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to estimate deliverable timelines accurately and communicate deadlines effectively to project teams and leadership.
Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in all work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
Competency in Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel for managing data and labeling specifications.
The Label Designer will have completed at minimum an Associate Degree in Design or related field of study.
Preferred
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in graphic design, packaging, and/or labeling is preferred.
Experience with barcoding and UDI compliance is ideal but not required.
Experience with labeling development software such as Bartender and Loftware is preferred.
