Responsibilities
Provide instruction and training for undergraduate students on laboratory techniques and equipment.
Oversee the daily operation of teaching labs, ensuring they are properly equipped and maintained.
Develop and maintain a safety program for labs, establish emergency procedures, and act as a role model for laboratory practice and safety.
Coordinate lab availability, preparedness, and teaching schedules with instructors and faculty.
Recommend and purchase equipment needed for teaching, maintain equipment, and handle asset management.
Support students in the research group, assist with experiments, provide research materials, and aid in administrative tasks.
Collaborate with collaborative projects and teams, and handle pre- and post-award documentation.

Required
Bachelor's Level Degree with a Major in Chemical Engineering or Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Experience in operation and maintenance of lab equipment
Familiarity with regulations related to safe laboratory practices
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Experience working with graduate and undergraduate students
