Responsibilities

Serves as the primary contact for all customer and broker/consultant engagement activities from the point of sale through transition to client management.
Coordinates and collaborates with multiple internal parties (examples are sales, underwriting, operations, group administration,) and with the eligibility and claims teams as needed during installation of new business groups transferring data (EDI files/claim files).
Develops and executes project plans including budget, timeline, communication, resources, assignments, and risk.
Assists with accounts after implementation and up to the first 12 months, working with the client manager.
Works with legal counsel to determine contractual issues and keeps current with DDPA guidelines and rules.
Participates in finalist meetings and develops relationships with groups and broker/consultants to gather requirements, create project plans, and ensure smooth implementations.
May assist with activities relating to finalizing bids, renewal bids, and proposals.
May provide implementation support to groups under 1000 as needed.

Required

Position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or public relations, communications, or related field
Seven to ten years of work experience in group dental implementations, customer service, or sales activities
Knowledge of health insurance administration, governing regulations, group contract, summary plan and certificate language, as well as group file transfer process
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts, resolve complex problems, and exercise independent judgment
Ability to work well with remote teams

Preferred

Knowledge of the claims processing, enrollment and billing systems
Basic knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
