Responsibilities

Coordinates the development of digital content design to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and prospects.

Works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Applies various strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the organization and its products, services and brands.

Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.

Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors in determining the best course of action.

Required

Bachelor's Degree

At least 8 years of technical experience

At least 2 years of project leadership experience

Detailed familiarity with WCAG 2.0 guidelines

Independent self-starter and extremely detail-oriented

Works well in a fast-paced team environment with an Agile, iterative design process

A good theoretical and practical understanding of interaction design as it relates to accessibility, and the ability to explain these features to others in a simple user-friendly way

Ability to work as part of a team with designers, product leads, analytics, SEO, UX writers, developers and technical authors

Preferred

Master's Degree

Experience in usability testing

Awareness and passion about emerging trends and innovation within usability, accessibility, or UX

Active participant in one or more of the following professional communities: usability, accessibility, or UX
