Responsibilities

Architecting, designing, and developing core backend services;

Leading and mentoring the backend team, fostering a culture of quality and innovation;

Collaborating effectively with frontend (Vue.js), AI/ML, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integrations;

Defining and implementing backend APIs for internal and external consumption;

Ensuring the high performance, scalability, security, and reliability;

Designing and implementing strategies for workflow management and offline graphics rendering;

Leading the technical design and implementation of integrations with DAM/MAM systems

Contributing to the overall technical strategy and product roadmap.

Required

8+ years of backend development experience, with a proven track record in architecting and building scalable SaaS applications from the ground up.

Must have 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, demonstrating strong technical leadership and communication skills.

Strong knowledge of best practices around corporate integrations such as information security, high-availability, SSO, and auditing is required.

Expert-level proficiency in AWS is required.

Must have deep experience architecting scalable solutions that are secure.

Experience with modern databases is essential.

Expert knowledge of containerization and orchestration is expected.

Experience building and deploying distributed systems and microservices architecture is crucial for this role.

Exceptional programming skills in a modern backend language (e.g. Python, Go, Java, Node.js) with a deep understanding of backend development best practices, including design patterns, testing methodologies, and code optimization techniques.

Strong understanding of API design principles and experience building scalable and secure APIs.

Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and expertise in deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and guide a team of engineers.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.

Experience with performance optimization, load testing, and security hardening of backend systems.

A strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.

Experience with asynchronous task processing and message queues.
