Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design integration solutions using middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi, Cleo, IBM, Oracle OIC).

Design and oversee the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.

Establish and enforce standards and processes for developing, testing, and deploying integrations.

Provide detailed estimates and work breakdown structure for projects and proposals

Lead the development of middleware integrations, including system-to-system data exchange, API management, and workflow automation across all org domains, e.g., CRM, ERP, HCM.

Provide technical oversight and code reviews for the integration team to ensure high-quality code and scalable solutions.

Develop reusable integration components, templates, and patterns to ensure efficiency and standardization across projects.

Coordinate with DevOps and IT operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of integration solutions.

Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related projects, working closely with business stakeholders to define integration needs and deliverables.

Prioritize and manage the integration project backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource availability.

Lead project planning, estimation, and timeline development for integration initiatives.

Identify opportunities to optimize integration processes, improve performance, and reduce costs.

Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to integration and middleware platforms.

Drive continuous improvement in integration practices by implementing automation, governance, and operational monitoring solutions.

Required

Experience with API Management platforms

Experience with A2A (Design and implement Application-to-Application) solutions

Experience with B2B (Business-to-Business) integration solutions

Experience explaining the benefits of various application integration patterns

Ability to program in Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, SQL

Familiarity with cloud-based and on-premises enterprise applications such as: NetSuite, SAP, Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Dynamics AX/CRM, Workday, etc.

Experience setting up CI/CD Pipeline

Experience with API Testing methodologies

Experience with API-Led 3-tier architectures

Understanding of structured and/or unstructured databases and data models like MS SQL, My SQL, Postgress, Mongo DB, Hadoop, etc.

Experience in delivering real-time, event-driven, and batch integration solutions

Background in API design, application architecture, design, and object modeling

Strong understanding of cloud computing and micro-services architectures

Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment

Demonstrated skills in helping negotiate priorities and resolving conflicts among project stakeholders (such as customers, product management, and engineering)

Knowledge of QA processes and test-driven development

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.

Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and drive strategic initiatives related to integration and middleware.

4+ years prior experience developing solutions on integration platforms, e.g., Oracle OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, IBM, or similar products

7+ years of experience in middleware integrations and architecture

2+ years in a lead or senior role.
