Responsibilities
Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of APIs using FIS Code Connect and integration with FIS Systematics.
Design and architect scalable, secure, and robust financial systems using FIS technologies, ensuring alignment with the business requirements.
Oversee the development and implementation of RESTful APIs to integrate with Systematics core banking applications and other third-party financial platforms.
Provide technical leadership in managing, customizing, and enhancing Systematics (IM, ST, RM, etc.) applications to meet business requirements.
Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other key stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement monitoring tools to ensure high performance, security, and availability of the integrated systems.
Conduct code reviews and ensure the team follows best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for both existing and newly developed systems and APIs.
Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring they are up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices within the FIS ecosystem.
Ensure that all solutions comply with financial industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) and follow best practices in data security.

Required
Lead Developer with deep experience in FIS Code Connect and FIS Systematics
Strong background in financial services technology
Leadership experience
Expertise in API development and legacy system integration
Extensive experience with FIS Code Connect for API development and integration
Strong understanding of the FIS Systematics suite (e.g., Information Management, Savings Time, Retail Modules)
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or COBOL (for legacy systems)
Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, along with deep knowledge of integration practices with legacy banking systems
Experience with SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2) and the ability to optimize queries for performance
Strong experience with Git or other version control systems for managing codebases in team environments
