Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of scalable Magento solutions on Adobe Commerce Cloud, prioritizing accessibility, user experience, and SEO best practices.
Gather project requirements, estimate workloads, and provide strategic direction for the development team in Agile Scrum environments.
Oversee Adobe Commerce integrations with third-party services, ensuring efficient workflows and system interoperability.
Architect Magento-based solutions, applying best practices in PHP and object-oriented programming to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
Develop and enhance both front-end and back-end components, ensuring optimal performance and mobile responsiveness across devices.
Collaborate with product and design teams to create engaging, user-centered interfaces and responsive design solutions.
Implement testing tools and procedures to maintain performance and cross-browser compatibility, supporting quality assurance testing.
Update and enforce application development policies, ensuring all applications align with security, functionality, and accessibility standards.
Oversee security updates, patches, and framework upgrades to comply with industry standards and company policies.
Document development processes and provide support resources to streamline maintenance.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, efficient workflows, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with product goals and timelines.
Contribute to architectural planning, bringing strategic insights for Adobe Commerce Cloud implementations and platform roadmaps.
Design and implement mobile-first solutions that leverage PWA capabilities and Adobe Commerce Cloud features to enhance customer journeys.
Research and integrate the latest Ecommerce and design trends, focusing on usability and omnichannel strategies.
Champion a user-centric design approach to deliver responsive, cohesive, and high-quality solutions across digital touchpoints.
Serve as a member of the Digital Solutions team and support others as necessary.
Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.
Actively and positively contribute to the overall success of the company through regular contributions to the general management of the company.
Participate and provide leadership in inter-departmental meetings, projects and informal activities.
Support the company and other departments wherever and whenever your skills and experience would be beneficial.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of PHP web application experience, including SDLC, architecture, and development of complex web applications.
5+ years of experience implementing SDLC processes, preferably in large-scale e-commerce environments.
Strong experience with Git and Gitflow, MVC frameworks (Magento, Zend), and Agile methodologies.
Demonstrated expertise with Adobe Commerce Cloud and integrations with payment, content management, and data analytics platforms.
Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (e.g., jQuery, Knockout.js), HTML, CSS, and Adobe Commerce Cloud configurations.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices for cloud environments, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and serverless architecture, with experience managing Adobe Commerce Cloud infrastructure preferred.
Experience with clustered databases (e.g., Percona/MySQL), Redis, Elasticsearch, and content delivery networks.
Strong understanding of SEO, ADA compliance, W3C standards, and responsive design.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Ability to create support documentation and assist in policy updates for maintainable, secure application design.
Up-to-date with e-commerce and digital experience trends, supporting the evolution of Adobe Commerce Cloud features.
