Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications

Mentor and guide a team of Java developers, ensuring best practices and high-quality code

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects

Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to team planning and progress meetings

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and introduce new technologies to the team as appropriate

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

10+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of core Java concepts and frameworks

Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams

Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate

Experience with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, RESTful APIs)

Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools

Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with microservices architecture

Knowledge of database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
