Responsibilities

Perform complex analysis, design, development, automated unit and integration testing, and debugging of computer software ranging from operating system architecture integration and software design to selection of computer systems, language, and/or equipment.
Design, code, test, develop, and document application programs for computer systems.
Work with end-users and project stakeholders to define system scope and objectives.
Manage modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
Lead stakeholder and product owner meetings to define software requirements and creates highly complex systems.
Act as a mentor to junior engineers.

Required

8 years of total IT/Software Engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (an additional 4 years of experience is required in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree).
5+ years of Java Development experience including strong Web Service/API Integration experience.
Prior experience onboarding web services on to an APIM platform (preferably IBM API Connect, will consider other platforms such as Apigee).
Experience building web services with MongoDB.
Prior experience acting in a lead capacity mentoring junior team members.

Preferred

GraphQL experience highly preferred.
IBM API Connect experience highly preferred.
AWS Cloud experience highly preferred.
