Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Liferay, Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and J2EE.

Oversee the implementation of technical solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and are scalable.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for all projects.

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Able to work some flexible hours, as required by Project Manager, to meet project deadlines.

Must be able to take production support on rotation bases.

Required

8+ years design/implementation/consulting experience with Java, distributed applications, and portal technologies.

5+ years of experience implementing Liferay solution playing an active leadership role with skills in – setting up environments, platform management, DevOps process, SSO, Integrations with external systems and Front-end implementations.

5+ years of experience in Portal development and back-end system integrations with Liferay DXP, DXP Cloud, Commerce, Analytics Cloud, and Custom portlets in Liferay latest releases.

5+ Strong experience in full stack development, Web Services (SOAP/REST) and J2EE technology.

5+ years of experience in Liferay DXP Web APIs and Frameworks.

5+ years of experience with using Web Servers, Applications Servers, and Relational Databases.

Familiar with build tools – Microsoft Azure, Jenkins, ANT and Version control tool – Git.
