Responsibilities

Researches, reviews, analyzes, coordinates, and provides expert management advisory services for a variety of complex Office of Science (OS) priorities.

Analyzes mission assignments, communicates program objectives, and implements short-and long-range plans, projects, in accordance with the established timelines and schedules.

Provides technical guidance to junior team members and others on all aspects of pre- and post-award acquisitions and contract activities.

Identifies, distributes, and balances workloads and tasks among employees.

Specialized experience must demonstrate one year of full-time work experience, or the equivalent if part-time.

GS-14: Applicant must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13, in the Federal service, which includes: providing guidance on contracts and/or acquisitions procedures; assisting with and monitoring workload distribution; preparing reports for leadership; and presenting recommendations for process improvement.
