Responsibilities

Conduct customer discovery and user/stakeholder interviews to understand problems and inform designs and product strategy.
Lead design research activities like concept testing, journey mapping, and personas.
Present research findings and insights for early product decisions.
Collaborate on product strategy using user insights and guidance.
Develop early product designs through wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Deliver product designs that align with the venture's value propositions and inform the roadmap.
Design for AI trust, address constraints, and ensure smooth handoffs with data scientists and engineers.
Solve complex problems creatively and contribute to design passion.

Required

6+ years of experience in product design.
Proven track record envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products.
Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design.
A high level of comfort working in ambiguity.
Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills (prototyping is a must) and product thinking informed by research.
Experience in a variety of UX research methodologies and tools.
Expertise with Figma or similar design and prototyping tools.
Attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the product.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working solo or in small teams in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.

Preferred

Previous B2B SaaS experience.
Experience with designing for AI products.
