Responsibilities
Apply advanced skill, knowledge, and/or experience while leading teams in translating complex mathematical, business, and financial modeling logic into software code.
Design and execute modeling application systems via distributed computing to achieve efficiency, scalability, and modularity.
Lead the design and execution of test cases for modeling and analytical software applications to ensure they meet business needs and model requirements.
Develop system requirements for model and analytical applications, such as computing power, storage, network, and security.
Recommend technology platforms and architecture designs for model applications to ensure robust and scalable execution.
Lead the evaluation of emerging technologies and industry best practices of model and analytical system implementation.

Required
Bachelor degree in applied mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
4 years of experience
Strong programming experience in coding and debugging in C++, Python
Proficiency in Unix/Linux environment
Expertise in visualizing data to identify, summarize and explain observed data patterns
Experience with econometric modeling, statistical analysis, and working with large data sets
Experience with the implementation and creation of various models and algorithms including regression and statistical models
Experience working with financial data, analytics, and cashflows applications
Expert in AWS cloud architecture and operations
Proficiency in Web Services, APIs, and DevOps practices
Proficiency in Networking, Virtualization and Security concepts on AWS cloud
Experience working in teams operating under an Agile Scrum delivery methodology
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree with 6 years or Master’s degree with 4 years or equivalent experience in applied mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering
Experience working with various stakeholders across Finance, Capital Markets and other lines of business
Proactive, creative problem solver with strong analytical skills. Must be able to define problems as well as potential solutions
