Responsibilities
Design and Engineering 13kV through 500 kV substations – system protection and control packages; substation engineering - asset upgrades/replacements, brownfield facility upgrades, greenfield substations
Protection and Controls for generation, transmission, and distribution systems including various schemes and protections
Check and verify conduit, grounding, control house, physical electrical arrangements, outdoor lighting, and equipment vendor design packages
Perform and verify grounding calculations, conduit fill calculations, outdoor lighting calculations, lightning protection designs calculations, and more
Create and verify material list descriptions for major and minor substation equipment
Ability to travel throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic is required

Required
Licensed Professional Engineer
12+ years' experience in the utility sector with relevant projects on applications that range from 13kV to 500kV
SME in specific areas of engineering and a recognized expert
Advanced knowledge and experience with regulations, guides, standards, code, methods, practices, and engineering principles
Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering
Ability to travel throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic is required
