Responsibilities
Leads software development teams overall direction. Provides guidance and definition of the software development process and architecture to the team.
Responsible for selecting, hiring, training, performance management, professional development, evaluation and management of the Software Developers.
Coach and mentor all employees on development practices, policies, procedures, technology related regulatory practices (FDA 21 CFR 11 -validated systems, etc.) Creates documentation for software development staff so the new concepts and deliverables can become a repeatable process.
Provides technical leadership to the software development team. Performs design and code reviews to ensure that application design standards are maintained. Creates models and prototypes, evaluates potential risks and defects, analyzes specifications and customizes applications.
Identifies opportunities to automate and improve development and the release process. Builds and maintains development environments, tools, and infrastructure.
Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements. Provides a high level of service to each internal customer emphasizing partnership approach at all times. Facilitates technology solutions to service delivery to internal and external clients.
Provides solutions in the areas of disaster recovery, data integrity, and security.
Reviews, analyzes architects, develops, and maintains information and communication of proprietary and other software to support current business operations, and to create new business opportunities. Designs and develops new and enhanced software features.
Performs full project lifecycle spectrum including analysis, design, prototyping, coding, integrating, testing, debugging, deploying, maintaining, and documenting systems and applications.
Develops and maintains software in validated state. Documents changes and additions to all code in compliance with maintaining an FDA validated state.
Develops processes to improve the efficiency and quality of the software development team.
Maintains current expert knowledge of technology used (C#, JavaScript, TSQL, ASP.NET, .NET Core, XML, Microsoft Reporting Services, Web, and other technologies as suitable).
Works closely with other members of the IT department to determine project and change requirements. Assesses the functionality and usability of new technology through high-level testing and works with IT and clients to guide the design of the end product.
Maintains and advances technical skills through professional education and training thereby increasing the effectiveness of the IT department.
Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related education
5 years experience in software development
2.5 years of supervisory experience
Software development management using .NET stack and tools in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Expert Knowledge of C#, JavaScript, TSQL, ASP.NET, .NET Core, XML, and Microsoft Reporting Services
Comfortable communicating in new and unfamiliar environments
Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and mind sets
Must be able to interact effectively with all tiers of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail required
Fast learner who exhibits creativity and flexibility
Understanding of the technical architecture of business applications and platforms
Able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities gracefully under pressure

Proficiency in use of computer equipment required with advanced experience in windows environment

Statline is a 24/7 /365 Call Center. Therefore, this position may be required to work some nights and weekends.
In addition to normal hours, this position requires a rotational on-call roll.
