Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA Engineers to revamp and modernize existing systems, enhancing value for our clients.
Contribute to the redesign and migration of legacy products to AWS, leveraging best practices.
Mentor team members on AWS techniques and advocate for industry best practices.
Develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions to address business needs.
Drive unit and integration testing efforts to ensure software quality.
Manage workload effectively, meeting project priorities and deadlines.
Facilitate sprint goals through both independent work and collaboration.
Conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards.
Support code deployments and ensure smooth integration.

Required
10+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in C#, SQL, JavaScript, .NET Framework / .NET Core.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud development.
Multiple AWS certifications
Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum.
Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience with domain-driven design and microservice architecture.
Passion for building high-quality systems using AWS best practices.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business requirements.
Appreciation for test automation and its incorporation into development processes.
Preferred
Continued education or advanced degrees.
Experience in HIPAA and/or PCI regulated environments.
Background in software-as-a-service, actuarial science, or insurance underwriting.
Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or AWS certifications.
Understanding of DevOps principles.
Familiarity with test-driven development.
Proficiency in designing systems with event-driven architecture.
Experience migrating on-premises legacy applications to modern cloud environments.
