Responsibilities
Lead quality, compliance, and education for UVMMC’s CSR department.
Act as the primary contact for CSR and high-level disinfection process initiation, compliance adherence, and tracking of quality and auditing activities.
Develop and maintain a quality assurance program utilizing a strong background in Sterile Processing workflow.
Collaborate with the Director, Perioperative Services, and Manager, Central Sterile Reprocessing, as well as leaders of surgical, procedural, ambulatory, and clinical areas.
Develop processes, contribute to education, in-servicing, competency validation, and auditing to meet regulatory requirements and policies at UVMMC perioperative, procedural, and ambulatory sites.

Required
7 years of Central Sterile Processing experience
1 year of Certified endoscope reprocessing experience
Demonstrated experience in project management, performance improvement
Associates Degree (Business management or healthcare leadership preferred) required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, required within 3 years of Hire
Certified Registered Central Service Technician through HSPA or CBSPD
Certified Endoscope Re-processor - through HSPA or CBSPD
