Required

5+ years of professional work experience in technical operations, engineering management, or a related field

Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering, technical troubleshooting, and managing technical teams

Strong experience with monitoring tools such as LightsOn, Tachyon, and Splunk

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field

Alternatively, an additional 10 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Experience with data sources and techniques used for monitoring, analysis, and modeling in a technical context

Familiarity with the principles of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and healthcare IT systems

Ability to perform scientific research and scientific writing for project deliverables

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences

Preferred

Previous experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), particularly in EHRM or related healthcare IT initiatives, is highly preferred

Prior experience implementing or supporting Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in a healthcare setting, ideally in large-scale environments

Familiarity with government regulations, standards, and policies for technical operations in healthcare IT
