Responsibilities
Prepare, organize, index, develop, and manage exhibits, evidence and data, including electronically stored information.
Prepare a variety of documents including information requests, pleadings, correspondence, memos, and other documentation related to the acquisition of evidence for criminal investigations.
Manage and operate a variety of computer hardware such as printers, plotters, audio-visual devices, and other equipment to conceptualize exhibits and complete special presentation projects.
Analyze and summarize factual aspects of cases, including reading and analyzing reports of federal agencies on particular cases.
Organize and coordinate discovery, including indexes and production logs.
Assist in organizing voluminous case information for efficient retrieval through automated means such as scanning, indexing and controlling of documents into a database.
Provide technical advice to litigation teams on legal automation requirements and systems capabilities to facilitate litigation decisions, trial preparation, and presentation.
Recommend software packages based on effectiveness for presentation of complex and voluminous evidence or production of graphic and/ or video demonstrative evidence.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as training and experience progress.

Required
U.S. Citizen or National
Selective Service registration, if applicable
Completion of a one year probationary period, if selected
Meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of the announcement
GS-07: Specialized Experience equivalent to GS-05 level in Federal service
GS-07: One full year of graduate level study or possess a Master's or higher degree in a relevant field
GS-09: Specialized Experience equivalent to GS-07 level in Federal service
GS-09: Possess a Master's or equivalent graduate degree in a related field or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education
Combination of successfully completed graduate education and specialized experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements
Completion of a background investigation
Completion of drug testing
Registration for Selective Service, if applicable
Completion of a one year probationary period, if selected
Completion of all required steps in the application process
Completion of the online assessment
Completion of the USA Hire Competency Based Assessment
Meet or exceed the cut score on the required assessments
Submission of required documentation including resume, transcripts, and Veterans' Preference documentation, if applicable
