Responsibilities

Conduct thorough US and global legal research on emerging issues affecting the social gaming industry

Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictions

Prepare legal memoranda and practical guidance for internal stakeholders

Research and advise on market entry requirements for new jurisdictions

Stay current on gaming, privacy, and technology law trends and developments

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, software licenses, marketing agreements, and partnership deals

Design and implement a streamlined contract review and approval process across the organization

Create and maintain contract templates and playbooks for frequent transaction types

Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders on contract matters

Train business teams on contract processes and compliance requirements

Serve as a point of contact for privacy-related matters

Review and assess privacy implications of new products, features, and business initiatives

Maintain and update privacy policies and related documentation

Assist in privacy impact assessments and data protection compliance programs

Monitor and provide guidance on evolving privacy regulations and requirements

Manage relationships with and oversee outside counsel on litigation matters

Provide guidance on intellectual property protection and licensing

Assist with anti-money laundering (AML) compliance programs

Support the legal team in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures

Collaborate with compliance teams on gaming-related regulatory matters

Handle various ad-hoc legal issues as they arise across the organization
