Responsibilities
Assist with global employment operations, particularly regarding the transition of employees post-acquisition.
Work with contract templates such as offer letters, severance agreements, and termination notices to ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
Prepare and assist with acquired employee integration plans for HR, outlining employment law requirements and necessary actions for newly acquired employees (e.g., issuing new offer letters, preparing termination notices).
Liaise with and instruct local outside counsel in various regions (e.g., France, the UK) to ensure compliance with local employment laws and integration of acquired employees.
Identify and resolve employment-related issues independently with little supervision or oversight.
Provide operational support on global projects, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and compliance with applicable laws.

Required
U.S.-based attorney with 4+ years of practical employment law experience, preferably with exposure to multiple jurisdictions.
Experience working with global employment law matters and familiarity with the employment laws of multiple countries.
Proficiency with employment contract templates (offer letters, severance agreements, termination notices) and other standard HR documents.
Capable of managing the operational details of large-scale global employment initiatives.
Strong ability to work independently, identify issues, and provide practical solutions with minimal supervision.
Senior Associate or Of Counsel level experience in employment law, with an operational focus (no involvement in strategic decision-making).
Preference for candidates located in the East Coast time zone, but other U.S. time zones will also be considered.
Preferred
Experience in handling complex global employment law matters, particularly those involving mergers and acquisitions.
Ability to manage operational details and support large-scale integration projects.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external counsel.
Independent and self-sufficient, with a track record of managing employment law projects with minimal guidance.
