Responsibilities

Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones

Communicate with the Legal team and other stakeholders to provide project updates

Proactively seek and provide feedback throughout the internship

Actively participate in, and contribute to, the Legal and broader Airbnb community

Required

This opportunity is for second-year (2L) students enrolled full-time at a nationally-accredited law school pursuing a Juris Doctorate.

At least one of the following: completed privacy coursework OR earned a CIPP certification OR have previous experience within the privacy space.

Strong interest in learning about in-house legal practice, specifically in privacy law.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and organized.

Comfortable reaching out and initiating communication with various team members.

Strong interpersonal skills and interest in building relationships and collaborating with teams within and outside of Legal.

Adaptable and able to adjust plans and manage changes effectively.

Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to review and distill information from multiple sources into concise and pertinent legal memoranda.

Work authorization for employment in the United States is required (CPT/OPT is accepted) - visa sponsorship is unavailable.
