Responsibilities

Create Chef cookbooks and Ansible playbooks to maintain and automate various parts of infrastructure

Provide technical support to Production and development environments

Analyze and resolve problems associated with Linux servers, hardware, applications, and software.

Complete administrative tasks on RedHat servers

Maintain monthly patching cycles for production and non-production servers

Utilize AWS EC2 service to provision and maintain

Install, test and automate security baselines and vulnerability patches to comply with DISA STIG guidelines

Required

Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience or an Associates degree and 7 years of experience or Master's degree and 3 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and minimum 9 years of experience.

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Proficiency in Linux (Red Hat) and Unix-based systems.

Expertise in Ansible with experience creating and managing Ansible playbooks for automating and maintaining infrastructure.

Strong knowledge of security best practices and tools specific to Linux systems.

Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash, YAML).

Experience with system monitoring tools.
