Responsibilities
Review and analyze monthly legal bills for compliance with department policies
Maintain processing turnaround time for invoices
Prepare check requisitions and reconcile payment amounts
Communicate with law firms to resolve billing questions
Identify billing practices requiring detailed auditing
Collaborate with Claims staff on invoice reviews
Conduct billing audits within specified time frames
Assist with data entry and statistical analysis projects
Prepare and communicate reports to management
Other duties as assigned

Required
Graduate of an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate Program, Law School Graduate, and/or Legal Studies Degree with 2 years equivalent work experience required
Good working knowledge of Windows based programs
Ability to learn and use web-based Litigation Cost Management System as well as other interrelated databases and programs
Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner
Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
Ability to function in a professional office environment and utilize standard office equipment
