Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of litigation, including pre-trial, trial and post-trial activities.

Provide litigation-related legal advice and support to Sungrow’s sales and operations teams, including HR, safety, IT, and project management.

Advise on customer claims including warranty and contract damage claims.

Collaborate with compliance counsel on laws and regulations related to the company’s products and services, including data privacy and cybersecurity.

Manage and support litigation and investigations, collaborate with legal colleagues.

Identify legal risks associated with the company’s operations and develop and implement litigation strategy to effectively represent Sungrow’s interests.

Collaborate with and manage outside counsel to ensure access to high quality, cost-effective subject matter expertise and support.

Undertake other duties as assigned.

Required

Law degree from U.S. accredited law school and active, good standing membership in at least one U.S. State bar (and willingness to maintain).

5-7 years of relevant legal experience.

Demonstrated experience advising and providing practical solutions to the management of product and service-related claims, employment issues, safety issues and other litigation-related matters.

Exceptional critical thinker with strong business acumen and judgment; must be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and pivot between responsibilities.

Highly collaborative person who works and communicates effectively and respectfully across all functions, cultures, and organizational levels.
