Responsibilities
Act as the liaison between the customer and company making sure that the customers’ needs are met and exceeded.
Pursue new and existing client relationships and project opportunities in poultry, dairy, swine and beef market sectors.
Build an action plan to prioritize and execute project development strategies to exceed revenue targets.
Attend industry events to keep up with both livestock and construction industry changes to provide the most valuable building designs for our customers.
Communicate effectively through personal contact and all forms of digital communications with both customers and project development group.
Make design recommendations based on industry knowledge and past experience.
Prepare pre-estimate forms to provide project bidding information in a clear and detailed manner to the project development group.
Prepare and follow up with building, remodel, and equipment quotations and orders.
Assist in preparing project specification documents.
Assist in estimating process including value analysis/value engineer recommendations.
Develop a clear understanding of available brands and systems of equipment including penning, feed systems, and ventilation.

Required
Deep background in production agriculture including on-farm livestock production experience for poultry, beef, swine or dairy.
Sales, operations or project development success in the livestock industry for equipment, construction, engineering or services.
Relationship-maker, industry connector.
Natural problem solver.
Proactive nature - Acts on every lead and pursues opportunities wherever they may be found.
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering Construction or equivalent work experience.
