Responsibilities
Reviewing and interpreting plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods.
Obtaining, reviewing, and making recommendations regarding Incident Action Plans and Disaster Situation Reports.
Conducting architectural and engineering studies and analyses.
Providing design and engineering analysis to determine Hazard Mitigation proposal scope and cost estimates.
Utilizing FEMA-approved Benefit-Cost Analysis software or methodology to conduct a defensible benefit-cost analysis.

Required
U.S. citizenship
Successful background investigation
Selective service registration for males born after 12/31/59
High school graduate or possess a GED
Minimum age of eighteen years
Experience preparing, presenting, and/or evaluating plans, designs, blueprints, site layouts or reports related to engineering and architecture
Experience conducting architectural or engineering studies
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field OR Current Professional Engineer (PE) License
