Responsibilities

Develops and enforces inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred property and excessed property.

Canvas various Automated Information Systems (AIS) and databases to consolidate information into a single database or spreadsheet and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action.

Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and billet specific desktop procedures.

Establish and enhance an electronic capability for storing, retrieving, searching, account for, controlling and documenting physical media

Ensure software licenses are maintained and up to date and comply with license agreements and usage standards

Accountable for procurement of hardware and software

Oversee and maintain the hardware lab ensuring all accountable and non-accountable property is properly tagged and accounted for, maintaining accurate records of loaned assets.

Establishes and ensure lab safety protocols are adhered to in the hardware lab.

Provide support through process control to maintain integrity of property accountability, and administration of government furnished property processes.

Provide recommendations and assistance on property accountable systems to enhance proficiency and efficiency.

Required

Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years experience in Asset Management

Experience in property accounting processes including associated forms

Knowledge of automated inventory control systems

Professional experience in ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability, and discharge of excess property

Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
