Responsibilities
Process and review loss mitigation applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members to set daily goals and address policy changes.
Oversee daily operations, guiding team workflow and ensuring efficiency.
Train team members on default servicing requirements to maintain operational standards.
Identify risks and factors affecting borrowers' repayment capabilities.
Stay updated on regulatory requirements and guidelines to determine borrower eligibility.
Monitor loan processing times and take necessary actions to maintain efficiency.
Contribute to team goals and performance metrics in the loss mitigation process.
Foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance default servicing operations.
Perform duties assigned by management to support departmental goals.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and undergo necessary compliance training.

Required
Reliable high-speed internet access for remote work.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in default mortgage financial services with expertise in loss mitigation.
Self-motivated and accountable personality.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle high work volumes and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
Preferred
Familiarity with mortgage servicing regulations and agencies.
NMLS license preferred.
