Responsibilities
Participate in code and design reviews within the team.
Stay relevant and share knowledge with other team members, focusing on recent advancements in NLP and LLM.
Design, develop, test, and deploy ML models to solve customer problems and drive business forward.
Assist in designing ML services capable of large-scale model development.
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other data scientists as an essential component of the Search and Personalization Machine Learning Team.
Guide, plan, and execute the Search and Personalization ML Roadmap to elevate the Shipt Marketplace Experience.
Create the architecture and infrastructure, and manage the deployment of state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms on the Shipt ML Platform.
Work in tandem with the ML team and engineering partners.

Required
BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in Machine Learning pipeline building.
Proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch or Tensorflow
Deployment of models to production via fast-api and /or GRPC.
Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices like Feast, Kubeflow, MLFlow TFServing.
Proficiency in Python, git, and airflow.
Strong knowledge of ML-Frameworks (e.g., Pytorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn)
Experience in Cloud Architecture and Cloud Platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS.
