Responsibilities

Work in a cross-functional team to design, code, and deploy large-scale batch and real-time ML solutions

Deploy models into production for batch and live inference use cases

Prototype solutions quickly, develop minimum viable products, and collaborate on the team's technical vision

Communicate and collaborate with geographically distributed teams

Participate in code reviews, resolve problems, and unblock team members

Define, develop, and maintain technical artifacts like design documentation

Participate in user story creation and support troubleshooting as needed

Required

Degree in software engineering, computer science or a similar field

Comfortable programming in Python, Java and Scala

Experience in Big Data technologies, in particular Hive and Spark

Experience of using cloud services (e.g., AWS)

Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Passionate about learning, especially in Machine Learning

Preferred

A high-level understanding Machine learning pipelines

Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow

Familiar in building real-time streaming applications, preferably in Spark

Familiar with workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow)

Familiar with the e-commerce or travel industry
