Responsibilities

Monitor IT infrastructure, applications, and supporting technologies for performance and reliability.

Provide real-time monitoring of Mainframe and Distributed systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems, leveraging tools like system dumps and trace analysis.

Manage CA7, CICS, DB2, JCL, COBOL, and ZOS systems.

Create and modify job schedules, monitor scheduler queues, and update base calendars.

Perform system administration tasks including HSM monitoring, ICF catalog management, and SAN operations.

Develop and maintain operational manuals, policies, and procedures for system maintenance and compliance.

Ensure changes and fixes adhere to established operational procedures.

Provide on-call support for critical issues and participate in disaster recovery exercises.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement new tools and technologies.

Assist with audit requests and compliance reviews for IT operations.

Contribute to SLA establishment and performance monitoring.
