Responsibilities

Planning, installing, configuring, customizing, and maintaining the IBM z/OS operating system and associated features (e.g., TSO/E, ISPF/PDF, JES2, SDSF) in a multi-LPAR, multi-site environment

Managing, maintaining, and upgrading IBM program products and ISV software

Providing after-hours on-call support for issue resolution and configuration changes

Required

9+ years of programming experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, or Information Systems from an accredited institution, or 2+ years of applied experience without a degree

Strong internal knowledge of IBM z/OS 2.2 or later

Proficiency in IBM z/OS installation tools, including SMP/E, z/OSMF, PDO, and more

Hands-on experience with UNIX System Services in a z/OS environment

Familiarity with hardware configuration tools such as HCD and IODF

US Citizen and ability to obtain a Public Trust

Preferred

Familiarity with z/OS Security product CA Topsecret

Knowledge of other IBM products such as CICS and DB2
